Thorpe Lea Primary School

'A dedicated community working together, nurturing a safe, happy school where all children can achieve their potential'

03.04.20

Happy Friday! I hope you've had a lovely week at home! Over the next two weeks there will still be some things popped up on our class page for you to do. These things will be fun things for you to do with your family at home rather than written work.

Read Write Inc will be streaming online lessons for the speed sounds during this time away from school. Please see their Facebook page or their Youtube channel search Ruth Miskin Training.

SET 1: 9:30am

SET 2: 10:00am

SET 3: 10:30am

These lessons will only be available for 24 hours.

I would really recommend tuning into these to support your child's phonics.

Can you tell someone in your family the story of the 'Very Hungry Caterpillar'? Can you tell them your favourite part? When you have done this you can write a book review about the story. There is a worksheet to prompt you to review it. If you don't have a printer, you can ask an adult to write the titles in your book for you.

Have a go at this subtraction sheet. Can you work out the answer and then write the answer down?
