Our Library has recently been updated and is now a much more inviting, cosy area to browse, select and read a book or two! Each year has allocated time per week for children to come in small groups and enjoy some time there. We have a large collection of non-fiction, fiction and poetry books to choose from and we are regularly adding new books to our shelves to ensure that we keep up to date with popular authors!

Birthday Books

Children can now add to our ever-expanding collection of wonderful books!

If you would like to donate a book, on the week of the child's birthday, please see the School Office and your child can select a book from our lovely collection of 'Birthday Books'. Each book costs just £1.50 and is a great alternative to bringing sweets to school. Once the book has been purchased, we will take a photo of your child with their donated book and will also place a certificate with your child's name on it inside.

During Celebration Assembly each week, each book that has been donated will be presented and shown to the children, before it takes pride of place in our school library.

Whilst this is a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday, it also contributes to developing a more up to date, and current stock of books in our library.
