Nursery Curriculum

The children follow a structured timetable (see below) and are given the opportunity to access enrichening activities that follow the new EYFS curriculum. The learning environment is planned according to half termly topics which seek to develop children's core skills of:

- communication and language.

- physical development

- personal, social and emotional development.

In addition to this, the children access maths, literacy, art and science through structured carpet input and ongoing provisions in their learning environment.

Below, you will find information on our termly topics and WOW days. We choose a story every two weeks that links to the topic, activities and teaching is planned around the topic-related stories.  Please click on the topic icons below to see what your child is learning about in school.

Home Learning

If your child is not in school due to sickness or any other reason, there is a bank of resources and planned activities that can be accessed under the 'Weekly Home Learning' tab. There are some general printable resources which you can use daily and weekly planned activities which mirror school learning. There is also a timetable should you wish to use it. Please upload any learning on Tapestry for staff to comment as we would love to see it.
