About our clubs

Football - During football club children will learn a variety of different skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, team work & formations. We also prepare children for school team events and competitions.

Netball - Netball is a non-contact, fast-moving game that is suitable for boys and girls to play together. It’s safe, non-contact nature, combined with the fun and liveliness of the sport, make it the ideal sport for children to develop their close hand-eye co-ordination and team work skills.  We also prepare children for school team events and competitions.

Computing – Through stimulating and challenging experiences children will develop their love for learning and through this become confident and independent users of a range of software and hardware.

Board Games - Board game club is a really fun and exciting place to discover new games, play your favourites from home and even design new ones of your own!   We have lots of different types of games: card games, board games, dice games – all sorts!

Choir – We have a lots of fun learning new songs, rounds and harmonies and we really enjoy performing these to the school and outside events. It doesn’t matter if you think you can’t sing – we believe everyone can! Singing can make you feel wonderful and can really help with confidence too.

So if you just love to sing and want to have some fun, come and join us. Keep singing, keep smiling!

Craft - Make decorative craft items. They will use and learn about the variety of arts & crafts resources and materials. During the creative crafts club sessions the children’s creative, imaginative and motor skills will be gained and enhanced.

Construction - Using LEGO bricks is the perfect opportunity for building fine motor skills! LEGO bricks are a great manipulative to work the fingers as children build and even pick up LEGO pieces. Children love the thrill of building and they can do this for hours, building up strong little muscles in their hands that will help them do other skills, such as learning to write.

Drawing – The children will produce designs to show their ideas. From that, they will transfer these to decorative craft items, they will use a variety of resources and materials.

Spanish – Hola! If you have ever thought of visiting Spain/Latin America or are curious about learning a new language, why not try our Spanish club? Through games, songs and activities you will learn some of the basics such as: greetings, colours, numbers and lots more!  Our regular 'lotto' (bingo) sessions are always a hit!

Yoga - In this playful yoga class the children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and help them understand how to identify and manage their feelings. Games, stories, and music will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class.
