School Clubs

About our clubs

Football - During football club children will learn a variety of different skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, team work & formations. We also prepare children for school team events and competitions.

Netball - Netball is a non-contact, fast-moving game that is suitable for boys and girls to play together. It’s safe, non-contact nature, combined with the fun and liveliness of the sport, make it the ideal sport for children to develop their close hand-eye co-ordination and team work skills.  We also prepare children for school team events and competitions.

Mini choir – Children will learn the Christmas songs for the productions, as well as some of the O2 songs. You do not need an amazing singing voice, just enthusiasm and a sense of fun!

Choir – We have a lots of fun learning new songs, rounds and harmonies and we really enjoy performing these to the school and outside events. It doesn’t matter if you think you can’t sing – we believe everyone can! Singing can make you feel wonderful and can really help with confidence too.

So if you just love to sing and want to have some fun, come and join us. Keep singing, keep smiling!

Art - Make decorative craft items. They will use and learn about the variety of arts & crafts resources and materials. During the creative crafts club sessions the children’s creative, imaginative and motor skills will be gained and enhanced.

Active Club – To get children move around and offer different types of activities.

Yoga - In this playful yoga class the children will learn yoga poses, breathing, and relaxation exercises which cultivate a calm mind, increase strength and flexibility, improve gross and fine motor skills, improve concentration, and help them understand how to identify and manage their feelings. Games, stories, and music will be incorporated into this fun, non-competitive class.

Eco Warriors – Is for children who are interested in the environment. We will hope to achieve many mission in this club such as being energy-saving inspectors, the litter crew, green gardeners, bug buddies or waste warriors. There will be important events to organise and plan for the whole school such as Green Day or other campaigns such as ‘Waste Awareness Week’ and ‘Switch off Fortnight.’ We will be doing lots of fun and exciting things from building a den to pressing flowers and trapping bugs.
