Thorpe Lea Primary School

'A dedicated community working together, nurturing a safe, happy school where all children can achieve their potential'

Tuesday 14th July

Today we are beginning to look at safari animals! Think back to yesterday- what was your favourite safari animal you saw when we were learning about Africa? Choose your favourite 1 (or 2) and draw a picture of it. Think of a few questions you have about it- what does it eat? Where does it live? How does it live in the heat? There are many possible questions you might have. Look online with your adult and see if you can find the answers.

Art Activity

Follow the instructions on the sheet below to make a beautiful sunset picture.

Counting Game

Have an adult hide the cut out safari animals around a room, garden or any outdoor area you might have. You could even hide small safari toys if you have some! Go on your own safari hunt to find the animals. How many do you find of each one?
