Reading:

In Year 2 the expectation is that children read daily. This needs to be recorded in their reading diary so that their books can be changed as a when needed.

Homework:

Homework will consist of daily reading, spelling practise and timetables. Reading books will be changed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (please see the rota to find out what day your child's book will be change). Please note: books will only be changed if it has been written in the reading diary that your child has read the book; at least 3 times (this is excluding chapter books). Spellings and timetables will be handed out on Thursday ready for the weekly tests on a Wednesday.

PE:

We will be doing PE on Mondays (indoor) and Wednesday (outdoor). Children need full PE kit for all types of weather. If you are unsure about appropriate PE kit please do come and ask for clarification.
