Short Breaks

Did you know that Surrey County Council has a duty to provide children with SEND the opportunity to take part in a range of breaks/activities outside of school hours? This can include activity-based clubs during holidays and weekends; short residential (day or overnight) settings and may even put money forward to help fund your own organise break away!

Interactive

Interactive is a Surrey based parent-led charity for families who have a child or children on the autistic spectrum or a child with a similar communication difficulty. They help families access support and leisure opportunities and events such as family fun days, coffee mornings and an ASD specialist play scheme in the Easter and Summer holidays.

Carer Grants... Did you know?

Grants of up to £300 are available for families who are not known to social care. These grants are part of the Short Break Offer which can be used to enrich family life. Examples of grants approved in the past include; the purchase of camping equipment and funding family days out!
